16-up register as adults.

Student Entry Fees:
$1.00 per entry
Limit 3 Pieces per Artist
Eligibility:
Original works which have been completed by the artist within the past 18 months and not previously exhibited at any previous Moscow Country Fair Art Show. Artist agrees to display works until conclusion of Show. CASH AWARDS.

Adult Art Show

Painting
(Oil, Acrylic, Alkyd on Canvas or Masonite, Pastel Painting)
Water Soluble
(Water Colors, Gouache, Acrylic on paper, Egg Tempera, Casien)
Crafts
(Weaving, Pottery, Fabric Batiks, Stained Glass, Woodworking, Jewelry)
Sculpture
(Original carved, cast, molded, or chiseled; free standing or three-dimensional)
Black & White Photography
(Must Be Mounted, Protected by Glass or Plastic, Suitable for Hanging)
Color Photography
(Must Be Mounted, Protected by Glass or Plastic, Suitable for Hanging)
Drawings & Graphics
(Charcoal, Pen & Ink, Ink Washes, Graphite, Colored Pencil, Conte or Pastel Drawing)
Eligibility:
Original works which have been completed by the artist within the past 18 months and not registered for judging in any previous Moscow Country Fair Art Show. Artist agrees to display works until conclusion of Show. Maximum of three per category per artist.
Requirements:
All art work must be properly framed and supplied with screw eyes and hanging wire. May not exceed 12 square feet with no dimension larger than 4 feet, FRAME INCLUDED. Small Sculptures will be table displayed. Artist must provide pedestals for larger pieces.
Adult Entry Fees:
$7.00 per entry. Checks must be payable to “North Pocono Cultural Society”. All fees are required at time of delivery and are NON-REFUNDABLE unless work is rejected.
Sales:
The Society will retain 15% commission on all sales made through the exhibit
Awards
Seven Categories will be judged for 1st, 2nd& 3rd Place;
(Providing there are Ten or more entries in the Category)
First Place $75.00 - Second Place $50.00 -
Third Place $25.00
Best of Show $100.00
If there are Five to Ten entries in a Category one $75 prize for best of Category will be awarded. Best of Show will not be eligible for any other category awards.
Liability:
The Moscow Country Fair and North Pocono Cultural Society will not be responsible for any damage, destruction or loss to any work entered into the Art Show while under the control of the Fair, whether during receipt, display, removal, transit, or storage, other than that caused by the reckless or willful actions of the Fair employees. Any submission of work for display means that the submitter has read, understood, and agrees with this statement.

The Following applies to all registered works:
Three Exhibit Forms must be submitted for EACH ART WORK.
One attached to piece, one for show files, one to you as a receipt.
NO WORK WILL BE RELEASED WITHOUT PRESENTING THIS RECEIPT!
Additional forms will be available at registration. The Art Show Committee WILL NOT provide any materials for hanging. All art works must meet show requirements. A storage fee of $1.00 per day will be applied to any work not picked up on Sunday, July 31, 2005.

Sales Opportunity for Artists
If you have three entries already registered in a particular category, AND if you have additional art pieces in that same category which you wish to sell, we are offering to facilitate sales under these conditions:
The items cannot be judged for this Show (2005).
Items will be displayed DEPENDING ON AVAILABLE SPACE after the Awards Reception (7/28/05).
Neither the Art Committee nor the Fair Committee nor the School District will be responsible for safety and security of items.
Items cannot be eligible for entry in Art Show 2006.
Any items sold during the days of the Fair are subject to 15% consignment fee to the North Pocono Cultural Society.
